Introduction

The meter is designed according to measuring (Buick method) of GB/T456-1989 paper and cardboard smoothness and it is applied to measure smoothness of paper and cardboard, but not proper to measure the sheet above 0.5mm or with freer air permeability.

The meter borrows high accuracy vacuum sensor to test the vacuum, replace the mercury compression, so it is the flatness meter with no mercury. The meter use German vacuum equipment to vaccumize the container in a short time, which is controlled by microprocessor. It has powerful data processing, not only can test a sample and automatically store the result, but also analyze group of specimens to show the average, maximum, minimum, standard drift and variation ratio. All the results can be stored and displayed by LCD. In addition, it can print out the data in the requirement of experiment report according to GB/T456-1989.
